www.seacadets.org provides the background and history of the USNSCC and the opportunities offered to a Sea Cadet
participating in the program.
After signing up, all Cadets must attend Summer Boot Camp for basic training. After successful completion of Boot Camp
the Cadet is offered the opportunity to take on-line training courses to advance through the ranks.
www.compass.seacadets.org provides the on-line training courses in BMR (Basic Military Requirements), Seamens and
Petty Officer Levels 1-3. You can also find the summer trainings here as well.
If the Cadet would like to participate in the summer trainings be sure to check the listings at www.compass.seacadets.org in
early spring each year. Be sure to renew the Cadet i.d. so that it is current through the summer training dates. If it is not
current when applying for trainings the Cadet will not be processed through.
When applying for summer training the following forms need to be downloaded from www.compass.seacadets.org.
1. NSCTNG 001 Request for Training Authority
2. Medical History
3. Physical
Enclose a copy of current Cadet i.d.
These forms need to be printed and filled out with a check or M.O. made out to "USNSCC" for the training fee and indicate
the 4 character training code.
