Welcome to the Boston Minutemen Division of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Here you will find information about the program and the division.
The Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a private, not for profit youth program for young Americans, ages 13 to 17 who have an interest learning about ships and the sea. If you think you'd enjoy driving a Coast Guard cutter, learning about Navy special warfare or SEAL teams, or getting hands-on training on the Navy's latest ship simulators, this program is for YOU.
Sea Cadets are among the most mature and talented young men and women around. Sea Cadets live drug-free, gang-free lives and enjoy the challenges of leading other people. When Sea Cadets go to their regular drill or attend summer training, they meet new people and make friendships that will last a lifetime.
The Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC) is for boys and girls, at least 11 but not yet 14 years old, who are interested in the sea and ships, and our nations seagoing services. The Navy League program is designed to introduce young people to maritime and military life, and to prepare them for later entrance into the Naval Sea Cadet Corps.
